(This article was written when our 6th child was 4 months old)

As many of you who are regular visitors to this site know, Kevin and I are the proud parents of a new baby son, Samuel Aaron. Our sixth child, and only son.

Many of you also might already know, the issue of the war against the unborn, is one of my biggest passions in life. With the birth of each of my children, as I hold their brand new, tiny, helpless, defenseless, warm precious little bodies in my arms, my mind simply will not allow me NOT to think of all those millions, who never make it. When I hold that tiny hand, kiss that little nose, and feel that tiny heart beating, I cannot stop the images of all the pictures I have seen, of the parts of babies, tossed out like common household trash. Mercifully, the Lord allows these things to occupy my thoughts only briefly.

My heart not only goes out to those precious little people who never made it, it also hurts for all those women and girls, deceived into believing it was a simple medical procedure. So many of them now know, thats not what it was at all. Those who repent of what they did, and seek forgiveness from the Lord, ARE indeed forgiven, but this child, or children, are never erased from their memories or hearts. Those who grieve what they did, and do not receive the Lord into their life, have the added grief, with no peace in any form. This vicious crime shatters lives, families, hearts, minds, and dreams. I call it a crime, because even though the laws of man say its permissable, the laws of God say it is not. When we each die and stand before Him, we will answer according to His standards, not mans.

So much for the simple medical procedure.

Face to face, I have never met a fellow believer who waffles on the issue of abortion. Online however, its another matter. Ive met many who honestly believe (wholly deceived) that this procedure of hiring a hit man for your unborn blessing of God, is a womans choice. Insert the all popular what about in the cases of rape or incest?!, and their defense of a womans choice to decide if that innocent bystander growing under her heart, should live, or die. . . strongly leans in her favor even more. If you know anyone like this, pray for them, that the Lord might open their eyes to the evil this truly is. If you ARE someone like this, read this paragraph again.

There are so many hard hitting, powerful verses in Scripture. So many chapters we might read today, two, three, four thousand years after they happened, and see our own lives, cities, and headlines, screaming out at us. One such verse is this:

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Do you know that abortion is advocated as a good choice, in particular situations? Take a look at Planned Parenthood. A very close look. This organization is founded on the blood of dead babies. When a pregnant woman or girl is counseled at Planned Parenthood, she is offered the option of abortion, as a legal, safe, positive choice. Is this not in direct correlation with Isaiah 5:20?

What is woe? The Bible lists this particular warning, 65 times in the Old Testament, and 33 times in the New Testament. The OT word is Hebrew, and it literally means apparently a primitive word expressing pain exclamatorily. The NT word being Greek, literally means a primary exclamation of grief. Where we find these warnings of woe unto thee, for those who advocate and participate in the things that God sees as sin, we can read that to say intense pain and grief unto thee. This is a warning of Gods perfect judgement upon those who promote sin, who call evil good, and good evil.

In the Old Testament, even still today, there were people who worshipped gods, whom required living sacrifices. One such god was Moloch, or Molech. This was the name of the national god of the Ammonites, to whom children were sacrificed by fire. He was the consuming and destroying and also at the same time the purifying fire, according to their beliefs. He was also called Milcom, Malcham and Chemosh. Anyone can look these names up in their Bibles, and see for themselves that Gods judgement was swift and just, for all who turned to this false god and gave him their babies.

In the year 2001, Moloch has a new name. Hes now the god called Choice. He still requires living sacrifices of babies, and in return, those who kill their own children for this new god Choice, receive his blessings of freedom and new beginings. But theres more. The god of Choice doesnt stop blessing there. In many cases, he requires more than one living sacrifice, from the same family. Often he requires multiple sacrifices, from numerous family members. Hes especially concerned about the uneducated, the hurting, the scared, the lonely. He demands sacrifices from them as well, for his blessings to flow. Hes still not done. Later on for many, he blesses with regret, heartbreak, physical pain, grief, sorrow, depression, suicide, breast cancer, and for some, death.

Worshipping Moloch by sacrificing living babies, was perfectly acceptable, even encouraged, in a godless society. It still is, even with his new name, Choice. It might be of interest to you, what these names of Moloch actually mean. Here they are:

  • Moloch: Hebrew root word malak - to be or become king or queen, reign
  • Molech: same as Moloch
  • Milcom: same as Moloch
  • Malcham: same as Moloch
  • Chemosh: kmowsh to subdue, also identified with 'Baal-peor', 'Baal-zebub', 'Mars' and 'Saturn'

Websters dictionary of the word choice:

1 : the act of choosing

2 : power of choosing

Think about this for a minute: when a person serves the god of Choice, do they not empower themselves, by their own authority, to be the ruler (king, queen?) and reign (?) over their own lives, by the very act, of serving Choice?

Indeed the newest name for the old false god Moloch, is the god of Choice.

Please pray, for the babies yet to be offered up to this god today. Pray for their mothers, that this god not get his hands on her. Please pray for the fathers, that they not be deceived about who this god truly is, and what his ultimate blessings will be. Pray also for those in the battle, on the front line, day in and day out, working their hearts out to expose the false god of Choice, for the lives of these unborn babies. Finally, pray also for those who do serve this false god, that the ONE true God, Our Heavenly Father, open their eyes and show them who theyre really serving, that they might turn from their ways, repent of this promotion of idolatry.
